We have decided to offer the chance of a free trip to our friends who we meet this year on the river as well as those of you who read about us on the blog. Actually anyone can enter, well almost anyone, we would prefer it if all entrants are nice people who either love to kayak or want to learn to.

To sign up go to our website http://www.smallworldadventures.com/ and click on “Win a free kayak trip”. You will then need to fill out a short form so we know where to reach you if you win. The prize is any one-week Ecuador kayak trip during our upcoming season, November, 2007 through February, 2008. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or expert, you can sign up and win a trip of appropriate ability level. SWA normal trip minimums apply. If you sign up and pay for a trip before the drawing in October and win, we will refund your money and you go for free! The free trip covers all normal trip expenses in Ecuador; land transportation, lodging great food, kayak use and guides. You still have to purchase your own flight to Ecuador like any SWA trip.

You can only enter once so get on it. Better yet, sign up for your trip of choice now, enter the contest and win your money back!

SWA 2008 Grand Canyon trip invitation

We invite you to join us once again for a fourteen day Grand Canyon adventure July 31- Aug. 13, 2008. SWA has once again teamed up with Moki Mac River Expeditions to offer a fourteen day trip for both kayakers and rafters to this incredible place. Many of you already know what this trip is all about but for those of you who don’t; we travel the entire length of the canyon from Lee’s Ferry to Lake Mead with Moki Mac running the trip. Larry is one of the raft or dory guides and Don is the kayak guide. The trip is limited to 16 participants and we get a mix of kayakers and rafters. The rafting is in eighteen foot oar powered rafts which are guided by Moki Mac boatmen and no experience is necessary for rafters. Kayakers need to have a very strong roll, some experience with big water and confidently paddle class IV-. We would like to talk directly with all kayakers before they sign up so we are sure that your paddling skills match the river. Talk to your friends and family and sign up soon, we hope to have this trip filled by July 31, 2007.
